Olive-3 Technologies was founded in 2005 by ERP/SCM software industry veteran Ali M. Aksut to develop and deliver the Next Generation Operations Management solutions that produce immediate bottom-line results through ease-of-use and ease-of-implementation.

Since mid 90's Ali has been working with Fortune 1000 clients like Intel, AMD, Dofasco (ArcelorMittal) and CNH, providing consulting services and helping clients to deploy supply chain and manufacturing management solutions. While working through dozens of full implementation cycles and witnessing firsthand the major challenges faced by customers and vendors alike to deploy these operations management applications that are hard to integrate and cumbersome to use, Ali methodologically studied the fundamental issues around the technology and delivery models of these state-of-the-art software tools with colleagues and clients. The core challenges were always related to a combination of data availability, data accuracy and application complexity that consistently lengthened the implementation cycles and delayed the user buy-in. The experts and the end-users wanted process-centric intuitive solutions, which deliver fast ROI. But there was no offering in the market that satisfied these criteria.
Olive-3's breakthrough Knowledge-Based-Intelligence-Agents (KBIA) technology and innovative Web-Oriented-Architecture around Microsoft Dynamics AX platform were developed with these criteria in mind; to provide intuitive operations management solutions that can be deployed within days to produce quick results. The fundamental concepts of the KBIA technology were designed  during the Small Business Innovative Research project that was undertaken by Olive-3 to optimize and manage spare-parts in Missile Defense Agency's multi-site supply chain (SBIR Contract/Purchase Order No: HQ0006-06-G7428). Leveraging these design concepts, Olive-3 commercialized the KBIA technology, building the KBIA powered WebOps Total suite of solutions around Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Today WebOps Total suite and Microsoft Dynamics AX together offer fully-integrated, comprehensive operations management capabilities that are easy to use, easy to implement, and easy to maintain.
